Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Grab your favorite microwave-safe mug and add the cream cheese. Warm it for around 10 seconds until it’s soft enough to blend. Give it a good stir until it’s completely smooth and there are no lumps left.
  • Put the peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg straight into the mug without fuss. Whisk it all together until the batter looks nice and creamy with no streaks of egg.
  • Fold half the chocolate chips into the batter and set the rest aside. Microwave the mug cake on full power for about 90 seconds. Microwaves can vary, so the top should look set but the inside should still be soft.
  • Once it’s done, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top and let it sit for a minute before digging in, it’ll be warm, melty, and totally satisfying.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overcook your mug cake, it’s better to check early and add a few extra seconds if needed.
